Metamorphosis

I need to lay next to you,
To hold, my other half, close to my chest...
Let me sleep like this for ages for I have to heal myself,
From the wound that I am, born into this world,
From the day that became a nameless night.
And then, when you will see me,
Crawled up next to you, like a willow tree,
Thirsty and embracing the wind,
Maybe you will cover me gently
With your hair, gold from the earth...
